There is something about mixing tequila with a little muddled fruit, lime juice and a jalapeno that makes for the perfect drink.
When my friend Stephanie, known on Instagram as Contained_Creations, invited me to start a new live series with her, I jumped at the chance.
We decided the first holiday to tackle is Cinco de Mayo!
She created a beautiful dish garden with plants inspired by Mexico. The colors and textures gave the feel of the Mexican landscape and would absolutely set the tone for a Cinco de Mayo party.
She requested a spicy margarita so I created a Blackberry Jalapeno Margarita. I dressed the glass with Spicy Margarita Salt from Red Clay Hot Sauce (you can use the code BONVIVANT for 15% off).
I also made my Rosemary Guacamole to pair with it. Talk about a killer combo!
The recipe is simple and refreshing. I hope you will make it by the pitcher for your next fiesta!
Cheers.
